Sketch – the eccentricity of detail, the beauty of inconsistency and the provocation of art, most will find something at Sketch that resonates with them. The depth and consistency of quality transcends to the food and drink and every aspect of your experience. It is a culinary journey with incredible attention to detail, from a contemporary take on the classics to the sheer creativity and innovation that has earned The Lecture Room Restaurant not just one Michelin star, but two.

The Gallery Restaurant (the second restaurant situated on the ground floor) serves as an evolving exhibition space designed by a coveted artist, for a period of no longer two years. The current Gallery Restaurant space is the work of Turner Prize winner, Martin Creed, who in 2012 designed the space using 96 different types of marble across the floor and there organisation of variety of practical furniture, whereby every single piece of cutlery, glassware, lamp, chair and table is different. The four walls are individual are overlaid by 18 paintings, including a series from his previous spread over four canvases.

It is evident that we only have positive things to say about this veteran of Mayfair, but this is because it succeeds where most fails – it delivers what every restaurant and bar should and more. If there ever was a ‘secret’ to the success that Sketch has enjoyed over the past decade, it is that it has its way of delivering beyond your expectations, every time.
